TEKASHI 6IX9INE: First Hand Account of Kidnapping

TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • Troy Ave showed up in court to support Nuke.
  • He's not just snitching. He's showing and telling everything from the gang's handshake to the inner workings.
  • Who cares if he avoids jail time -- will he ever truly be safe? He'll have to look over his shoulder for the rest of his life, and so will his family.
  • He knows he can't get a good deal if he doesn't give up all the dirt he has.
  • We've learned a lot in the past couple days. What else does he know?

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s second day on the witness stand was just as eventful as the first.

On Wednesday morning, the Brooklyn rapper broke down his gang’s beef with Trippie Redd,Casanova and Chief Keef. He also gave his first-hand account of what went down when his former associates,Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack.

When he was kidnapped, Tekashi pleaded with Harv not to shoot and said he was tired of being extorted. He says a guy named Sha pinned him down on the floor and beat him, and Harv started filming Tekashi and made him disavow his Blood affiliation three times.

6ix9ine offered $100,000 when the bank opened in the morning in exchange for his life. Not wanting to wait until then, Harv worked out a plan to get a bunch of jewelry from Tekashi’s apartment.

At one point Tekashi was told to get out of the car and feared he would be shot as soon as he stepped outside. He ultimately made a break for it and jumped into a stranger’s car and got the guy to take him to the nearby police precinct.

There is a lot of evidence to corroborate Tekashi’s account of the robbery, including video from inside the car, which was wired for video and sound. Tekashi’s driver,Jorge Rivera is a cooperating witness in the case.

Other highlights included:

  • Tekashi broke down his financial contributions to the gang, revealing he gave $85,000 to the Nine Trey set to support gang members on the streets and “behind the wall.”
  • Tekashi says he was forced to choose a side when there was friction within the crew, and aligned with former manager Shotti.
  • He talked about the infamous LAX airport fight and admitted that he personally ran to get involved, but “didn’t land any punches.”

6ix9ine is expected to testify for a third day on Thursday.
