MISSY ELLIOTT: New Music Now Streaming

TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • She's back!
  • 20 years later and she's still making some of the best videos in the game.
  • Now that's what creativity and originality looks like.
  • Nobody does it like Missy.
  • Feels like a pretty safe bet that she'll perform a medley of hits at Monday night's VMAs, maybe finishing up strong with the new music?
  • Now it's time for a tour and a full-blown album.

Missy Elliott is back with a brand new project — her first in nearly 15 years.

While Missy’s dropped a few random singles here and there, her last full-length effort was 2005’sThe Cookbook. But early this (Friday) morning, she dropped a new project in advance of receiving MTV’s Video Vanguard Award Monday.

Iconologyis a five-track EP with four new tracks -- “Throw It Back,” “Cool Off,” “DripDemeanor (f/ Sum1),” “Why I Still Love You” and ana cappellaversion of the last track. There's also a new video for "Throw It Back" that will remind you of Missy's iconic visuals over the years.

Iconology is now streaming.
