2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards – Press Room

Special awards went to Garth Brooks(Artist of the Decade),Ariana Grande(Artist of the Year ),Taylor Swift (Tour of the Year) andAlicia Keys(Innovator Award). Keys spoke passionately about being original and not trying to fit in. "I am here to just do me. All we have to do is love who we are."

  • Halsey sang "Without Me" perched on the underside of flipped-over smoking car. Then she was joined by drummerTravis Barker and British singer-guitarist Yungblud for "11 Minutes."
  • Kacey Musgraves sang "Rainbows" accompanied on piano by Coldplay singerChris Martin.
  • John Legend sang "Preach" with a dancing choir
  • The Backstreet Boys and Garth Brooks also did brief medleys of their hits.
  • Alicia Keys sang "Raise a Man" with her son Egypt on piano.

  • Fangirls Award: Halsey
