Meet the CT Humane Society's Adoptable Pet of the Week: Prada

Meet Prada a fantastic six-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix! Prada came to CHS in September to find a new home when her previous family was facing serious health issues. They wanted Prada to have a home where she could get all the attention and love she deserves. Prada has been welcomed into CHS with open arms and has received plenty of TLC while preparing for adoption. She is a very friendly and social girl who melts when given all the attention in the world.

She will be an excellent match for a single-family home or condo, with apartments considered if they allow her breed. While she has not had much experience with children, she will be a great fit for children who are gentle and respectful of pets. Prada has not had much experience sharing her home with a furry companion, but she may be willing to share her home with another calm and social dog, or a dog-savvy feline. While she does have her moments of calm, she will thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise every day. Prada will be an excellent match for a first-time dog owner!

If you're interested in Prada, she is available in Waterford. In order to best serve pets in CHS' care and to efficiently serve the community, the Waterford location is operating on an appointment-only schedule, and adoptions for pets at this location will begin online via an online application.
