Come have a FREE Census Sundae with CRT!

The Community Renewal Team (CRT) is hosting more free ice cream and Census events during the month of August. The next two are happening soon:

  • Friday, August 14 from noon to 2:00 pm at the Middletown Farmers Market on the Union Green; and
  • Tuesday, August 18 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 at the Hartford Public Library - Albany Ave. Branch. (located at 1250 Albany Ave., Hartford)

There will be FREE ice cream for all who visit (one per person, please), and the chance to complete the 2020 U.S. Census, too!

We will have official Census enumerators with us to help people fill out the Census during these events.

Both events will also include music, free popcorn, and at the event at the library on the 18th, free books from the Hartford Public Library for all the kids!

Also, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz will be joining us at both of these events. At the Middletown Farmers Market we will also be joined by Middletown's Mayor, Benjamin Florsheim.

Social distancing rules will be in effect - please wear a mask!
