Lil Durk just dropped off his latest single from his upcoming album.
On Friday, October 4, the Chicago rapper shared his new song "Monitoring Me." Durk unloads one lengthy verse about how he handles his opps nowadays over a bass-filled instrumental produced by Southside. In addition to the track, the Grammy award-winner also announced the plans for his upcoming album Deep Thoughts. In an Instagram post, Durk included the cover art for the project and confirmed its release date in his caption. The album will serve as the official follow-up to his 2023 LP Almost Healed.
"Deep thoughts 10/18 for the people for the trenches smurk back," Durk wrote.
"Monitoring Me" comes a few weeks after he shared his previous single "Turn Up A Notch." Lil Durk's new song also appears at the top of iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. The playlist also contains more fresh music from Tee Grizzley, who dropped his new album Post Traumatic, Boston Richey, 41, Cochise, Animé and others.
