Fans are convinced that Future fired a subliminal shot at Gunna in his new collaboration with A$AP Ferg.

On Friday, October 4, Ferg dropped his new single "Allure" featuring Future Hendrix. On the song produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, Ferg begins with his verse about a wild night at Allure — a popular strip club in Atlanta. Towards the end of the song, Pluto joins in and drops a braggadocio verse in which he claims his "day ones went fed."

"You took a plea on my slime, won't be surprised you ended up dead (Slatt)," Future raps.

Future didn't call Gunna out by name, but fans believe the stand-out lyrics from the song are about his former collaborator. The two Atlanta artists have been at odds since Future reportedly dissed Gunna days before his One of Wun album dropped in May. At the time, Future planned to drop his MIXTAPE PLUTO project on the same day as Gunna but decided to push it back at the last minute.

"F**k yo album S**t ain’t slappin like my MIXTAPE," Future wrote on X at the time.

"Turn this s**t bac up Notch……!" Gunna wrote in his own X post. "F*c What These boys talkin bout 🗣️"

It's not clear exactly why Future and Gunna are beefing. However, based on his latest lyrics, it might have to do with Young Thug and YSL's ongoing RICO trial. Gunna was one of the first defendants to accept a plea deal after he was arrested alongside the other YSL members in May 2022. After he was released from jail, the rapper and his legal team maintained that he would not participate in the trial or offer any other information about the case. Nonetheless, some people like Future still believe Wunna snitched.
