Ross and Chandler are two adorable male kittens that are now available for adoption. However PLEASE read this entire post before emailing for an adoption application. They came to us about two months ago from a hoarding situation. They were terrified of humans but thanks to an amazing foster who has experience with socialization they have come so far in the six weeks they have been there, as you can see from these pictures.
They are going to need to go to a home that will have patience and understanding because they will absolutely be terrified in a new environment and it will take them time to come out of their shell and warm up. But they will! They are very fond of the male adult cat in the home so they would benefit from a home that has a friendly confident cat that they can continue to learn from. They would be fine in a home with older kids but we do think young kids would just be a bit too overwhelming for them. We do not know how they are with dogs but an active and energetic dog will probably not help them thrive at this time.
They are approximately 12-14 weeks old right now. They have just been vaccinated and neutered and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. They use their litterbox like champs. They are extremely bonded and they have to be adopted together. Please reach out to us if you are interested in them, but again we cannot stress that these kittens are not going to be curled up in your lap right away, they need an adoptive home that is willing to continue on with the patience and understanding to help them learn the world is not a scary place.
Please email Kenwayscause@aol.com for an application. Adoption fee is $170 for this pair. No exceptions...must stay together.
