Nicki Minaj's Imitation Of Meryl Streep In 'Devil Wears Prada' Is Perfect

Turns out, Nicki Minaj really is a big fan of Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway's 2006 classic, The Devil Wears Prada, where the former plays a Vogue-esque CEO with the perfect amount of sass, pose, and edge.

Over the weekend, the Young Money MC took to Instagram to share a brief skit of her impersonating Streep's role as Miranda Priestly, the editor-in-chief of high fashion magazine, Runway. In her clip, Minaj sits behind a desk similar to the set-up of the Priestley's office and goes on to deliver a comedic impersonation of the famed character. "Emily? How many times do I have to scream your name Emily?" she asks an off-screen personal assistant, before continuing on with the role. "You don't read Runway. Unfortunately, you've never heard of me. You have no sense of style. No, that wasn't a question."

Minaj has previously shared her love for the film in the past. "For one month straight, I watched The Devil Wears Prada until I fell asleep every night," she told Us Weekly, and we'd like to think that her spot-on skit would make Streep smile.

In related Minaj news, her album, Queen, as well as Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V were recently certified platinum by the RIAA. With her new accolade, the MC is just one million units shy of becoming the first female rapper to have 100 million units sold. Among those units include albums, singles, and features certified by the Recording Industry Association of America.
