Wedding photographers have probably heard all kinds of strange requests, but the request one couple in England has might just take the cake.
A husband and wife-to-be placed an ad on the British site Bark.com, which helps people find service professionals. In it, the pair explained how since they got engaged during Christmas of 2016, they've been planning to make their big day incredibly memorable, and what better way to remember their wedding night than by having it filmed and photographed - but they aren't only talking about the reception. The couple want ALL their intimate moments captured.
They explained, "My fiancé and I believe that your ‘wedding day’ shouldn’t just be limited to a day, and actually your wedding night is just as important. Obviously during the day, everyone has photographers and videographers etc capturing all of the days moments and memories, but it’s not a norm for someone to have that on their wedding night."
They asked their daytime videographer if he'd shoot the nighttime action as well, but he wasn't comfortable, so they are looking for someone who will, and they're willing to pay them $2,600. The hours will likely be 1 am to 3 am and the soon-to-be-newlyweds are seeking "a mixture of still and moving shots." They explained, "We also want it all to look professional, so any lighting in the room etc will need to be sorted beforehand," adding, "We’ll talk about it in proper detail once we’ve found the right person. We don’t want the tape to go anywhere at all and it’s just for personal use between me and my fiancé, which is why it’s so important for us to find someone we feel we can trust 100%."
The wedding is in September so the clock is ticking for them.
